TGIF!

No big plans tonight. I've been laying low the past couple of weeks, just chilling out at home in the evenings. That's because I've been doing hardcore cardio at the gym SEVEN days a week for the past three weeks, so rest is essential. My knees are little worse for wear, but I'm sleeping so well, and have already lost twelve pounds. (Memorial Day is only a month away!)

Every morning into work, I watch ABC's World News Now podcast. As much as I love Jon Stewart, I can't rely on fake news to find out what's going on in the world. This morning, I realized how much I enjoy Elizabeth Vargas' accent. She's the anchor on the podcast, as well as on "World News Tonight." Just listen to her say "headquarters." So cute.

It's amazing how almost everyday I'll run into someone I know. I mean, it's a town of 8 million people!. This morning, it was Heather as she was heading into work.

Are you using Google Calendar yet? We just switched to it at work, and I've been using it personally since the public launch. Although it's still in beta, it's a remarkable piece of Web software, and I'm sure soon it will integrated into Gmail. Bye bye, Outlook!

Ugh, my allergies are killing me. It started two weeks early for me this year, and Claritin just isn't doing the trick. Sure, it helps a lot, but not totally. I look kinda sick, so that's probably another reason for not going out as much.

This week, Urban Outings announced their summer weekend getaways to Fire Island. I'm SO signing up and dragging Martin along with me. With this, plus my week in Hawaii with Henry and David, it's shaping up to be a really fun summer!
