What can brown do for me? Fucking ring my bell!

I ordered some furniture from Target.com last week. I was excited to see that it made it from North Carolina to Brooklyn in just a couple of days. I wait at home for it, while tracking it on ups.com. I felt like a kid on Christmas Eve. So you can imagine my amazement, when I refresh my browser, I read "THE RECEIVER WAS UNAVAILABLE TO SIGN ON THE 1ST DELIVERY ATTEMPT. A 2ND DELIVERY ATTEMPT WILL BE MADE." UPS LIES!

What's worse is that I run downstairs, and I don't even have a Post-It saying that UPS was here! I'm so sick of this shit. UPS in Brooklyn is awful. This isn't the first time UPS has done this to me.

I've had packages delivered from FedEx Ground and DHL, and not only were they on time, but they've even helped bring heavy items up to the third floor!

I know I'm not the only one. My friend, Henry, who works from home, is also a frequent shipper and receiver of packages. He's had his share of problems with UPS, saying that they "tried, but no one was home." He's home all day, everyday!

With ever-mounting competition from the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx and DHL, how can a company just lie like that?

I never complain, but this is ridiculous. I called their 1-800 number, and of course, there wasn't an option to speak to Customer Service. I guessed, and hit "0" and got a live person. She took my number, so I could file a "formal complaint" on Monday.

Someone named Joyce from UPS in NYC just called, who assured me that she will speak to the driver. Hopefully, I get my package in one piece.
